How many pictures will we receive?
The number of images you will receive depends on the duration of your shoot, and in the instance of children, newborns and animals, it can differ based on how they are acting on the day.
On average, I provide 50 - 60 high-resolution edited images in a 1-hour photoshoot, but sometimes this can be higher.
How should we dress for our session?
The most important thing is that you and your loved ones feel comfortable and beautiful in your clothing. However, there are certain colour schemes that really appear nicely on camera. When you book with me, I provide a guide that will help you select your outfits.
This guide will come to you via email after you pay your retainer.
What happens in bad weather?
I will only cancel your photoshoot in severe weather. Living in Melbourne, the weather can be unpredictable. In the case of bad weather (thunderstorms), I will make the call on the day to reschedule at no additional cost to you.
I will not cancel photoshoots with a small amount of rain, my camera has a rain jacket!
Cancellations due to weather will be rescheduled, in the case that you do not want to reschedule, the retainer paid will be withheld.
When should I book my maternity session?
I recommend booking your maternity session between 33 - 35 weeks, when you are showing your bump in all it's glory, but not too uncomfortable.
What if we are sick?
We all get sick, and that's okay! If you are sick, please let me know with as much notice as possible and we will reschedule. The same goes if I am sick.
Your retainer will be moved toward a future session with me. Please note there will be no refund of the retainer, only a rescheduling.
Are you vaccinated for new borns?
Yes, I am up to date with my required vaccinations, including whopping cough and Covid 19.
I am happy to provide you with my vaccination history on request.
I will never proceed with a newborn shoot if I am feeling unwell.
Do we get the RAW / Unedited images?
No, I do not provide any RAW or unedited files.
Editing is a part of my art, and I will only provide my edited images.
However, if you are after a particular editing style please let me know and I will do all in my ability to make it happen.
Do you have a WWCC?
Yes! I have a valid working with children's check.
How long will I have access to my images?
I am charged for each gallery I hold a month, therefore the downloadable gallery provided will be accessible for at least 20 days after it is sent to you. After this time, it may be removed. Therefore, it is the your responsibility to save the images on an external device.
What should I wear?
This is a very common question, you aren't alone!
Upon receiving your deposit, I will email you a guide which will provide you with ideas and colour schemes to help you choose your outfits.
We don't feel confident in front of a camera, is that okay?
Yes! I've got you! I provide you with prompts to get you laughing and smiling naturally.
Do you do same sex weddings?
Yes, I do! Love is love no matter how you identify!
Can my dog be a part of the day?
Yes, please! I love fur babies! Just make sure your venue allows animals.
Do you travel for shoots?
I sure do, I am located in Melbourne and happy to travel into rural areas for your special day. If your wedding is interstate, please contact me and we can discuss the possibilities.
When can i expect to receive my photos?
You can expect to receive your images within a month after your wedding date, and I always send a few sneak peaks a few days later so you can begin to relive the best day of your life!
How many photos will I receive?
I do not limit the number of photos you receive. It is dependent on the amount of time I have been hired for and whether there is one photographer or two.
Do you do Elopements?
Yes! I love elopements, they are so beautiful and intimate. It would be my pleasure to be a part of yours.
What if we cancel or move our date?
Life happens, I get it! If you need to cancel, your retainer will be non-refundable. I keep this retainer in the case of cancellations because it protects my business, as I have held your date and turned away other potential clients.
If you are moving your date, I will do my best to be available for you, however, I cannot guarantee I will be available on your new date. If I am not available the retainer will remain non refundable, but I will do everything in my ability to help you find a new photographer.
Are there permits needed to shoot in particular locations?
For weddings, photography permits are sometimes required in government owned parks or buildings. If you are wanting to shoot in a location that may require a permit, it will be your responsibility to obtain such permits. However, we will assist you and point you in the right direction.
