A Cosy Autumn Wedding at The Little Vineyard, Chirnside Park

There’s something undeniably magical about a wedding in May. The air is crisp, the colours are rich, and there’s a sense of warmth that comes from gathering your favourite people together as the seasons begin to change.

This beautiful wedding day at The Little Vineyard in Chirnside Park was the perfect example.

The morning began at Heritage Golf & Country Club, where excitement filled the air as final touches were made and loved ones gathered around. There was a calmness to the morning that set the tone for the entire day, relaxed, joyful, and full of anticipation.

Although the forecast had kept everyone guessing in the lead-up, the weather turned out beautifully. Soft autumn light filtered through the clouds, creating the perfect backdrop for a heartfelt ceremony surrounded by family and friends.

One of the things I love most about weddings at The Little Vineyard is how much character and charm surrounds the venue. After the ceremony, we made a quick trip across the road to a nearby farm for bride and groom portraits, and we weren't the only ones interested in the photos.

A curious group of cows decided they wanted to be part of the celebrations, wandering over to investigate and creating some of the most memorable (and hilarious) moments of the day. The newlyweds embraced every second of it, resulting in photographs that feel genuinely unique to them.

As if the cows weren't enough excitement, we also had an unexpected wedding crasher appear during bridal party photos. The entire bridal party burst into laughter, and it quickly became one of those stories that will be retold for years to come. Sometimes the unplanned moments end up being the best ones.

Back at The Little Vineyard, guests settled in to enjoy an incredible reception. If you've ever attended a wedding here, you'll know the food is always a standout. From the first course to the last bite, it was another reminder of why this venue is such a favourite among couples and guests alike.

The day was filled with genuine moments, big laughs, beautiful autumn light, and the kind of relaxed atmosphere that allows everyone to simply enjoy being present. It was the perfect celebration of two people beginning their next chapter together, surrounded by the people who matter most.

May weddings really do have a special kind of magic, and this one was no exception
